No One Hungry
No One Homeless

"These aren't just random strangers asking for help, these are our neighbors we love and have been sharing life with and growing this community together with... No one in our community should go hungry or homeless in this time, and we will do everything in our power to make that the reality for Grove Park”

- Danny Iverson, CEO

If you have an emergency need please fill out this form or call 770-800-7317.

For the last 5 years we have been doing emergency relief in the Grove Park (Bankhead) community for seniors on fixed incomes, our disabled neighbors, displaced (or soon to be) neighbors, and single-income/low income families. Grove Park and surrounding Bankhead residents/homeless receive priority for all assistance. During this unprecedented time we are directing all of our resources and partnerships toward ensuring that none of our neighbors go hungry or homeless.

Details of Services Currently Provided

*Emergency Relief
For the last 5 years we have been doing emergency relief in the Grove Park (Bankhead) community. We issue restoration grants up to $1000 to assist with rent, utilities, temporary housing needs, medical emergency needs as well as food and supplies. We have an emergency relief line (770-800-7317) that community members can call and our faithful restoration agents assist them quickly and discretely to get the help they need in a dignified way. The need for these service has multiplied beyond what we can handle with this Pandemic and the amount of joblessness and loss income many are facing. We primarily need resources to meet these needs and volunteers as well. Visit Emergency.restorelife.net to plug in to help.

*Food Empowerment
  • Through our Partnership with Fountain of Hope food bank we distribute groceries weekly to over 100 vulnerable households. With more resources we could easily serve another 100 through our distribution routes.
  • We distribute hot ready made meals daily, Monday-Friday, to 13  families in need who are committed to practicing social distancing during this pandemic. Special thanks to Bright Futures Academy cooks for these delicious hot meals. With more resources we could increase this distribution.
  • In Partnership with Mercedes Benz Stadium kitchen and PAW Kids (another local non-profit) we are receiving 1000 readymade/heat up meals each week being distributed primarily to the homeless and displaced and those in our community disabled or elderly and unable to travel to buy food.
  • Every second Saturday we bless our most vulnerable neighbors by distributing 120 boxes of hope (enough food for 5 meals in each box)
  • Every Sunday we serve breakfast and sandwiches for 70-100 of our homeless neighbors at Hurt Park.
  • Every Friday we help equip and empower Georgia State college students to serve food and hygiene supplies for homeless surrounding their campus.
  • Through our partnership with our local A-Town wings we pre-Purchase discounted meals and send our homeless and struggling neighbors to pick up food as the need arrises. This has also helped keep a local business afloat, and been very successful in meeting immediate and urgent food needs people are facing.
  • Corner store Empowerment - Every week we deliver 1500-2000 lbs of food to two local corner stores agreeing to distribute to neighbors in need who frequent their establishment.
  • One of our Restoration Agents serve at Douglas High-school Monday-Friday for their daily food distribution.
  • Visit Food.restorelife.net for information on these various initiatives.

*Mental and emotional Health Services
Our counseling services are providing mental and emotional stability through online counseling sessions (individual and group therapy) We also offer visitation/check-ins to help with the loneliness many are feeling (we stand 6-10 ft away from front door and check in with a smile, good questions and a prayer for those who want it). Currently we do visitations Monday-Friday.
