Our Story

2009:Restore Life was formed as a 501 c 3 by Jim Moon to help reach the marginalized in their community. The organization never fully materialized and lay dormant until 2015. 2015:Restore Life was entrusted to Danny Iverson to re-tool the organization to help restore distressed and marginalized neighborhoods in Metro Atlanta. 2016: All operations were moved into the Grove Park community of West Atlanta to work alongside Paradise Missionary Baptist Church and empower local leaders as restoration agents. 2017-2018: Restoration Studios was funded and developed, and the Studio Grind Mentorship program began under the leadership of Clarence (St. Claire) Adams. 2020: Restore Life met the challenges of the pandemic head on and expanded operations all throughout metro Atlanta. 2021: Restore Life grew 40%, expanding operations by addressing displacement due to gentrification and empowering local leaders on the Eastside of Atlanta. 2022-2024: Restore Life launched the Bankhead Renaissance (youth empowerment program under the leadership of St. Claire) in West Atlanta and the Safe Haven Program (led by Danny Iverson) in extended stay hotels in Stone Mountain serving displaced and disinvested families.
