Jayla Phillips, Co-Founder of Y.A.L.E. Forever
Jayla has specifically been serving the Grove Park community for the past two years. Throughout these years, she's also been building and developing the vision for Promise Forever and Y.A.L.E. Forever in partnership with LeAnthony Freeman. The Y.A.L.E. Forever heart to see our next generation become the next leaders and influencers of Grove Park. At Y.A.L.E. Forever, the goal is to develop mentoring relationships to empower young black boys and girls, by developing a sense of unity, self-esteem, confidence, and purpose. In 2018, Y.A.L.E. Forever will be continuing its in-depth mentoring program at BEST Academy. This includes spending three days each week at the school, organizing monthly neighborhood clean-ups, and developing meaningful field-trip opportunities that will challenge the current world-views of these kids. We really believe in Jayla and LeAnthony's vision. Let's come alongside and support their dreams for our Grove Park community! The hope is to raise $800/month, for the next 12 months. Let's help Y.A.L.E. Forever meet this goal! Consider investing in this hero! |
